Review Methodology
Metavulus exists to surface risk controls and regulatory realities for Indonesian traders. Our reviews are built to verify claims, stress-test withdrawals, and clearly label where protections end so you can size your own exposure.
How we research
- Check licenses, registrations, and company ownership against regulator databases and corporate filings.
- Map custody: who holds customer funds, where they sit, and what legal claims clients have during stress.
- Test onboarding, funding, and withdrawals with small amounts to confirm timelines and friction points.
- Document product mechanics (derivatives, staking, earn products) and the risks each creates for retail users.
- Track operational resilience: incident history, public statements, insurance claims, and customer support quality.
- Validate marketing claims against terms, fee tables, and historical behavior before recommending cautious use.
What we will not do
- We do not accept payment for coverage, placement, or favorable language.
- We do not run paid promotions or affiliate links that bias rankings.
- We do not provide trading signals or individualized investment advice.
- We do not outsource reviews; every article is written and verified internally.
Sources and verification
We rely on primary sources first: regulator notices, audited financials, legal terms, and direct platform testing. Secondary sources are cited only when they add context and are cross-checked against official documents.
Anonymous or marketing-led claims are treated as unverified until confirmed by documentation or live testing. If a platform disputes a finding, we will review any evidence they provide and annotate the article when warranted.
Updates and corrections
- Listings are re-checked after major product launches, policy changes, or regulatory actions.
- Material corrections are timestamped with what changed and why.
- Readers can request corrections or submit evidence via the contact form.
